港台近期国学类学术讲座展览（十）

5、「台湾汉学讲座」首度于东京大学举办

内容简介：国家图书馆汉学研究中心首次与日本最高学府东京大学合作，以「如何利用GIS研究中国」为主题，举办小型学术讨论会形式的「台湾汉学讲座」，于11月27日下午2点至5点，假该校驹场校区举办。邀请中央研究院人社中心GIS研究专题中心执行长暨史语所研究员范毅军教授，以及上海交通大学历史系研究员张志云博士演讲。

这场「台湾汉学讲座」由东京大学总合文化研究科川岛真教授担任主持人，东京大学图书馆堀浩一副馆长和台北驻日经济文化代表处教育组林世英组长，皆应邀莅临讲座并致词，充分展现台日双方对此学术活动之重视。东京大学图书馆特任研究员成田健太郎博士，也在演讲前报告两方交流现况，表示自从去（2014）年底国家图书馆在东京大学设立「台湾汉学资源中心」后，持续赠送台湾优质的学术图书予东京大学，该校已在驹场图书馆辟立专区陈列，接着他详细介绍国图以锁定IP方式提供该校利用的博硕士论文、期刊论文、古籍与特藏文献、电子书刊送存阅览服务系统，以及台湾其它图书馆提供的在线数据库，对该校师生研究上带来许多方便。他并表示，东京大学目前在本乡校区筹建亚洲图书馆，待完成后「台湾汉学资源中心」会迁入，他期待双方能够持续维持密切合作的关系。

第一场演讲由范毅军教授主讲「中国研究时空信息的整合」（Integration of Spatio-temporal Information for China Studies）。范教授系美国史丹佛大学博士，现任中央研究院人文社会科学研究中心地理信息科学研究专题中心执行长，以及历史语言研究所研究员，亦为亚洲历史地理信息学会会长，专治明清社会经济史。他在演讲中揭示，晚近包含GIS（Geographic Information System）、GPS（Global Positioning System）、RS（Remote Sensing）等方法、技术与理念的空间信息技术，以最符合人类思考模式的方式，将各种不同类型、不同时空的数据，以数字方式做最有效的处理、整合与应用，进而可多面向的展现其意涵与价值。将之应用于与中国有关之各种议题，特别是中国历史方面的研究，相当程度上可扩大其各种议题探索的可能性与有效性。

他以长期以来致力于空间信息技术研发与积累的中研院地理信息科学中心为例，说明该中心如何针对中国与台湾，研发建置2D、3D以致于4D的中国研究时空平台，同时也广泛的搜集各种空间基础资料如地图、航空照片等，并予以加值处理及做各种有效的应用。范教授以他研究河北商业贸易网的经验，分享他利用GIS以迅速形成各村落间贸易市集网络图，而集散中心遂一目了然地清楚呈现。该中心成员并且广泛与各学科的专家学者合作，共同探讨与发展有效的研究支持模式，从而积极促进学术界各种跨领域整合研究的具体实践。目前具体成果包括城市史、经济史、文学史、商周青铜器、妈祖庙、台湾考古遗址……等，皆不乏应用成功的案例。

第二位讲者张志云博士为英国布里斯托大学（University of Bristol）历史学博士，现任上海交通大学人文学院历史学系研究员。本次讲座以「开港通商以及外国势力在中国的扩张（1870-1881）」（The Opening of the Treaty Ports and the Foreign Expansion in China, 1870-1881: The Spatio-Temporal Presentation by Geographic Information System）为题，运用以地理信息系统建立时空分配的数据库，忠实地呈现清末十九个条约口岸的各项数据，并清晰呈现各国在中国的各种贸易形态。本次演讲，张志云博士将展示历史学研究可以如何运用地理信息系统，并让学者重新了解晚清中国国际贸易的优劣势，重新呈现十九世纪国际贸易史的新样貌。

接着由东京大学人文社会系研究科水岛司教授担任评论人，他表示大数据是现今的热门议题，且欧美学者目前十分关注亚洲研究，此为一契机。亚洲领域的学者除了充实研究内容外，亦应着重研究成果的呈现如何打动人心？如何将观点说服他人？水岛教授认为GIS是有效的工具之一，且推崇范毅军教授率领的台湾中研院地理信息科学中心之整合各面向、各学科领域，是极有成功的范例。

现场吸引了众多在日本从事汉学研究的学者和东京大学的师生参加，也提出不少问题向主讲人进一步请益。汉学研究中心也准备了自行编印的《2015台湾汉学数字资源选介》，以及「外籍学人来台研究汉学奖助」、「台湾奖助金」等宣传折页，赠送给现场听众。
